Download extension
You can download current and past extension versions of an extension as ZIP or CRX files. You can use these to examine the contents of the extension in further details, reinstall extensions that have already been removed from Chrome Web Store, use the CRX file for WebDriver automation, etc.
Installing from ZIP file
Uncompress the ZIP file to a directory of your choice.
In Chrome browser, go to chrome://extensions
Enable Developer mode, then click on the Load Unpacked button.
Select the directory with the unpacked ZIP files from step 1. The extension is now installed on your browser.
Why some older versions are not showing?
We started ChromeStats in late 2020, and continued to enhance it over the years. As such, some extension versions that are published before we started our project may not be available on ChromeStats.
